Tezcatlipoca, the Smoking Mirror, Aztec God of Creation

One of the Aztec gods of creation who among three others, ordered the universe and continued to build upon it through celestial warfare.
The more I look into the history of his origins, the more I sense his duality.

Omnipotent, he occupied both the world of the living and the land of the dead. He was associated with both divination and war - embodying a vicious peace.

The most identifying marker of Tezcatlipoca is his smoking mirror. It is made of obsidian (volcanic glass). In my view, this mirror intimately and accurately reflects the progression of mankind.

This is my amalgamation of these representations into a single form.
